City Central Hotel
The Budapest Hotel, built in 1876 and renovated in 1995, is located in the historical and business heart of downtown Moscow, within a walking distance to the Kremlin and Bolshoy Theater. The hotel combines standarts of today with a comfortable environment of traditional Russian architecture.
At the end of the last century the building of the hotel functioned as a rent house, but in 1909 it was already one of the main Moscow hotels, first named “Rossija”, later, in 1914, it was renamed in “Elite”, and in 1918 in “Aurora”. Finally, in 1956 the hotel was completely renovated and given its present name of Budapest. Even nowadays more than century-long history of the hotel reveals itself in the decoration of the rooms and restaurants, which, by the way, have always been one of the attractions of the Budapest hotel. Up to 1977 there had been open a restaurant of the same name. Later the Restaurant Grand Opera and a bank replaced it.

The majority of the rooms, including all the rooms of higher category, are air-conditioned. The linen and towels are changed daily in the rooms of higher category; in standard rooms linen is changed every 3rd day, towels - every day.
